Hi, I am Tanaya Vaidya and I am a Counselling Psychologist, Psychotherapist and a Healer. I am an experienced Psychologist with the background in child, adolescent, adult, group & family therapy & counselling. My training, education & experience in this field has provided me with a strong background in both individual & group therapy. I am adept at assessment, intervention, treatment, counselling & therapy. I have worked with schools, group homes, NGOs & I have extensive experience in crisis & emergency situations.
My background has included counselling in cases of substance abuse, dysfunctional family issues, relationship issues, marriage issues, learning disabilities, child development, anxiety, stress, depression. I am also familiar with violent crimes, sexual harassment and suicide issues.
Throughout my training & employment I have provided my patients with the highest possible quality of care & treatment possible. I am able to perform swift & accurate assessments. I am also a qualified Bach Flower Therapist and conduct need based workshops for different age groups. My spiritual qualifications include being an Angel Therapist, Merkaba Healer, Lama Fera Healer and many more.
My goal is to help transform the lives of people and help them become the best version of themselves! We all deserve to be happy in our lives, and my objective is to set up a platform that helps you find your life’s purpose, joy and contentment in whatever you do. It doesn’t necessarily be any difficult event, it can be a general feeling of ‘something missing’. I believe that we all have the ability to be the best version of ourselves whether we do it through a scientific approach or a spiritual one. I do not specifically promote any religious beliefs and believe only in spiritual growth. I strongly believe that a harmonious blend of new scientific and psychological techniques along with mindfulness, together will create a new approach to deal successfully with today’s die hard competition and its results like stress, nervous breakdown, physical as well as mental disorders.
I, at The Mindful Being, provide mental and spiritual healthcare services, for demographic that ranges through every walk of life: children, teenagers, youth, adults, and the elderly. The Mindful Being engages in conducting individual, couple and family therapies, counselling for various problems faced in our daily life. Through practicing mindfulness, we help the clients to be in the present and accept the situations as they are, without being distressed and judgemental about them. Emotional wounds cannot be seen but they need to be addressed and healed.
Counselling / Therapy is sought for personal growth, advice or guidance and the most important aspect of therapy/counselling is that of confidentiality. The therapeutic relationship is a safe place for you to be who you truly are without any fear of judgements; where you can feel accepted and understood; and this process of self-discovery and growth and healing is between you and the therapist.
